Sansula sound amplified into abstract form, copper wire, yarn & mesh fabric – part of the Media Practices in Acoustic Ecologies course
بسط طنینن صدای ساز سنسولا به یک جسم از جنس سیم و تور و کاموا
Listening to the sound of Sansula, I wondered how the serene, contrasting qualities of what I experienced could be captured as a unified whole. I decided it needed to involve wires, yarn, sheer cloth and a dome chamber to mimic the rich, resonating, soft, yet metallic tones that echoed on as they intertwined. As it turned out the chamber eventually burst open. It could only contain the reverberations for so long. The balloon was used as a guide for the shape and briefly left in afterwards.
